Ms. Kennedy received her undergraduate degree in speech and English education from the University of Illinois at Champaign in 1975, where she was inducted into the Mortar Board and Phi Kappa Phi honors societies, as well as a James Scholar. |

Kennedy has additional post graduate studies through Illinois Benedictine
College and the College of Dupage. Ms. Kennedy was awarded her lawyer's
assistant certificate, with honors, from Roosevelt University in
1996. Ms. Kennedy has a variety of prior business and teaching experience. Her responsibilities at Lillig and Thorsness, Ltd., include assisting with real estate closings, title insurance, estate plans, court filings and other administrative and support functions. Ms. Kennedy is a member of the Illinois Paralegal Association and the National Federation of Paralegals Association.
