Our firm has established Illinois Title Company ("ITC"), a licensed title insurance agent for nationally recognized title insurance companies doing business in the State of Illinois. ITC acts as title agent for Chicago Title Insurance Company and First American Title Insurance Company. As a title agent, ITC offers to our clients a full range of real estate title services. These services include title searching and examination, owner's and lender's title insurance commitments and policies, special title policy endorsement coverage, necessary parties examination for judicial proceeding (minutes of foreclosure), and real estate tax and judgment lien searches. We are able to assist our clients in solving the more complex title issues associated with the ownership of real property. Escrow and closing services as well as certain title clearance work are handled directly by the staff of the title insurers that ITC acts as agent for. The title services of ITC are available for both residential and commercial real estate. These title services can also extend to real property located outside of the State of Illinois through the national services division of the title insurance companies affiliated with ITC.
