Whitty have been recognized as 2018 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in Illinois. This year marks the fourth straight Super Lawyers selection for Ms. Whitty, while the honor is the third for Ms. Iaria.
Only 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state of Illinois are selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list each year. Qualifying attorneys must be 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less.
Attorney Angela M. Iaria concentrates her practice in the areas of civil litigation, family law and real estate. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in political science from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and earned her J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where she was named to the Dean’s List. Ms. Iaria is admitted to practice law in both Illinois and Wisconsin. She is the Third Vice President of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers and she is an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association, currently serves as a member of the Judiciary Committee, and has been involved as a member and chair of several other committees. Ms. Iaria is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Wisconsin State Bar Association.
Attorney Kiley M. Whitty concentrates her practice in family law and handles issues relating to complex divorce litigation, parentage, legal separation, and child support. She also negotiates premarital and post-marital agreements. Ms. Whitty graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and speech communication from Miami University and went on to earn her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she was named to the Dean’s List and earned certificates in Family Law and Trial Advocacy. She is a Past President of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers and is actively involved in the DuPage County Bar Association, having been elected to the Board of Directors for the 2017-2020 term and previously serving on the Planning Committee, Budget Committee, and on the Executive Committee as the Assistant Treasurer. Ms. Whitty is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association. In 2015 and 2016 Whitty was named an Emerging Lawyer by Illinois Leading Lawyers and she has also been named to The National Advocates Top 40 under 40 List for Matrimonial and Family Law in Illinois.
