Lillig & Thorsness Welcomes David M. Gower

Lillig & Thorsness announces the addition of David M. Gower as a partner at the firm. He concentrates his practice in estate planning, estate and trust administration, and estate and trust-related litigation.

David has extensive experience in:

  • The drafting of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance medical directives, and other estate planning documents
  • Representation of fiduciaries and beneficiaries in trust and estate administration
  • Probate litigation involving trusts and estates, including will contests, contests of trust agreements, and alleged breach of fiduciary duty cases

In addition, he assists corporate and individual clients in commercial and residential real estate transactions and has extensive experience in state and federal courts in a broad range of civil and business litigation matters.

Prior to joining Lillig & Thorsness, David spent more than a decade at a boutique Chicagoland law firm focusing on estate planning, probate, litigation, real estate, and business law. He is a U.S. Navy Veteran who served four years before earning his bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and his law degree at Loyola University School of Law in Chicago.
