Thomas Oddo is a trial and appellate court attorney with over 25 years of experience who has tried and successfully resolved numerous complex and high stakes cases involving issues of shareholder and limited liability company member disputes, business litigation, construction and design defects, mechanics liens, injunctions (emergency and permanent), intellectual property disputes and catastrophic injury throughout the United States. With over two and a half decades of litigation and trial experience in a broad number of areas, Tom has become outside general counsel for many businesses with the goal of preventing litigation and protecting his clients. Tom represents businesses and individuals in a broad array of industries, including construction, aerospace, software, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare and real estate. Tom’s approach to litigation as well as his general counsel work is to become a partner with his client for purposes of the case.
Tom was licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois in 1990. He practices in all Illinois State Circuit Courts, the Illinois Appellate Court, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois. Tom also has litigated cases in the state and federal courts of Texas, California, Wisconsin, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Utah.
Throughout his career, Tom has provided pro bono legal services to local grade schools, high schools, churches, and military veterans. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for Benet Academy and is active in his community through the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Benet Academy Dad’s Club, and KidsMatter.
