Thomas G. Oddo

Thomas Oddo is a trial and appellate attorney with over 25 years of experience. Tom has tried many cases to verdict and resolved numerous complex and high stakes cases through arbitration, mediation, and settlement. Tom represents clients throughout the United States in a variety of matters, including, shareholder and limited liability company member disputes, contract disputes, construction and design defect cases, mechanics lien issues, temporary restraining order and emergency injunction litigation, intellectual property disputes, and catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death actions. Tom also has gained the confidence of several business clients and become their outside general counsel with the goal of preventing litigation and protecting his clients’ interests. A partial, representative list of his clients’ industries includes construction, banking, software development, manufacturing, transportation logistics, health care, real estate, and aviation. In addition, Tom represents individuals who have suffered significant personal injuries and families who have lost loved ones. Tom’s approach to litigation as well as his general counsel work is to partner with his clients to understand and zealously represent their interests.

Tom is licensed to practice in Illinois, and the United States District Court for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois. He is a member of the Northern District of Illinois Federal Court Trial Bar. In addition, Tom has litigated cases in the state and federal courts of New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Wisconsin, Indiana, Texas, Utah, and California. Tom has been recognized by his peers as an Illinois Leading Lawyer.

Throughout his career, Tom has provided pro bono legal services to schools, churches, and military veterans. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for Benet Academy and is active in his community through the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, and KidsMatter.
