Bill Thorsness is a founding member of the law firm and focuses his practice on representing individuals, business owners, professionals, executives, retirees and their families with all matters relating to their estate planning affairs and the post-mortem settlement of estates. Bill focuses on planning strategies to protect clients and their families from exposure to federal and state estate taxation, losses to divorcing spouses and creditors, and implementing business succession strategies.
Greg Smith is the firm’s managing partner, and for over three decades has represented owners and developers in complex commercial real estate transactions involving the purchase, sale, development and leasing of all types of real estate. Greg also has considerable experience advising clients in the myriad issues concerning the purchase, sale and operation of their businesses.
Russ Custer specializes in real estate law, title insurance law, including the prosecution and defense of complex title insurance claims resulting from fraud, defalcation, and other misconduct. Russ also represents financial institutions in commercial and residential mortgage foreclosures, and title disputes.
Adrian Mendoza focuses his practice in the areas of complex civil and commercial litigation and regularly handles matters involving partnership disputes, fraud, catastrophic injury, will and trust contests, directors’ and officers’ liability, and breach of contract. Admitted to practice in Illinois, Indiana and the District of Columbia, Mr. Mendoza has tried numerous cases in state and federal courts around the country.
Francesco Roselli represents clients in all areas of family wealth planning, business succession planning, estate planning, wills and trusts, estate and trust administration, and federal estate and gift taxation. A certified public accountant, Francesco previously served as a senior trust officer for a financial institution and as a tax associate at a major public accounting firm where he was involved in all phases of family wealth planning.
Tom Oddo is a trial lawyer who handles complex commercial and civil litigation matters such as shareholder and limited liability company member disputes, business litigation, construction and design defects, mechanics liens, emergency and permanent injunctions, intellectual property disputes, fraud, and catastrophic injury in federal and state courts throughout the United States. Tom represents businesses and individuals as a trial attorney and outside general counsel in a broad array of industries, including construction, banking, manufacturing, logistics, software, aerospace, healthcare and real estate.
